Wednesday 6/23/2010 -- Chattanooga Riverwalk (FINALLY!)

The Chattanooga Riverwalk is a different kind of hike, as this is an 8-10 mile walk on a paved walkway. Shorts and sneakers are recommended. There are birds, flowers, bridges, and historical markers along the way, along with ample drinking fountains and restrooms. Food choices are: bring your own and eat in a covered pavillion along the way, or eat at our final destination downtown where TGI Fridays, Rio Picante Mexican, Big River Brewery and others available. A shuttle is required. Depart Trinity Tabernacle Church on Rt 127 south at 6:45am. Gas cost is $8. See Ginger and Bill Eldridge pictures.
