Last Wednesday was an exercise in improvisation due to uncertain weather and other misadventures. We decided to remain close to Crossville rather than risk a rain-out 80 mi away in Manchester. We began our day at Burgess Falls only to find out that the viewing platform for the big falls had been torn down for repairs. We proceeded to lost Creek Falls which were not approachable due to high water near the splash basin. We finished the day at Fall Creek Falls where are luck changed for the better...all you could eat chilli at the inn and great water in Fall Creek,Cane and Rockhouse Falls.See photos.
