To paraphrase a line from ''Treasure of Sierra Madre'', we ain't scared of no stinkin' rain! So it rained on our way to Fall Creek Falls and we improvised by going on to Savage Falls. But once on the trail the worst we had was a little mist. Proved to be a nice hike w/ good fall color(so I'm told) and lots of water in the falls. See Ginger and Jim's photos. Howard even let us stop at McDonalds on the way home for a little lunch and caffeine to increase Ginger's energy level. Just a reminder...email me by Saturday if you want to hike the Smokey's next Wednesday.
