Ginger led a dozen of us down thru Maude's Crack and up to the John Muir Overlook. A lot of first timers to Maude's joined us and looked a little apprehensive when Ginger donned her snake proof's. I filled in for Bill Harris by spinning the yarn about the tragic events suffered by the Roysden family in the early 1900's. By the way, the ladder on the way up to the overlook has been torn down.
