This hike is a loop that decends to the bottom of No Business Gourge, then follows the creek for a mile or so to the rim of the gourge. The last 100 feet of the climb is through Maude's Crack. There are relics of an early 2oth century settlement along No Business Creek. There is a side trip to the John Muir Overlook. The hike is approximately 8 miles and rated moderate to strenuous because of the rugged terrrain, a stream crossing, and two climbs. It may be necessary to have flip-flops or extra shoes to wade through water. Cost $6.00. Depart from Cracker Barrel at 6:45am. Bill E, Ginger, Jim and Russ' photos.
