Don Taylor & Carolyn Miller will lead a 6 mile float with a 3 mile car shuttle. This is an easy, Class 1 float, down the Caney Fork River from below the dam to the take out point at Happy Hollow boat access. Along the way, we will pass through wooded area, pastures and see some rock bluffs. Swimming and fishing are possible. As most of us own canoes or kayaks, we do not plan to rent boats. We will put in below the dam at Noon. Bring lunch, snacks, water shoes, and life jackets. Meet behind Cracker Barrel at 10:30 am CT to carpool. Please e-mail or call Carolyn at cardan@frontiernet.net or 931-260-6674 to register. Gas cost $6.
