This
hike is a loop that descends to the bottom of No Business Gorge, and then
follows the creek for a mile or so to the rim of the gorge. The last 100 feet
of the climb is through Maude's Crack. There are relics of an early 20th
century settlement along No Business Creek. There is a side trip to the John
Muir Overlook. The hike is approximately 8 miles and rated moderate to
strenuous because of the rugged terrain, a stream crossing, and two climbs. It
may be necessary to have flip-flops or extra shoes to cross the stream
crossing. Depart Cracker Barrel at 7:30am CT. Carpool cost $6.
