Well we wimped out of going all the way to Virgin Falls. Might have been a good thing. The rain hit my house at 2 and would have soaked us in a few seconds. Water was low enough to enable an easy stream crossing but high enough for big laurel falls to put on a show. See Ginger and Jim's photos. Jim's photos also include shots of virgin falls taken Saturday.There are new stairs up to Martha's Point and the spur returning to the main trail is in much better condition than our last visit.
