Due to high water in the stream crossings, we substituted Polly Branch to Yellow Bluff for Virgin Falls. High water still made several, usually minor, Polly Branch crossings "interesting" but no falls or wet feet. Afterwards Ginger took us on a bushwhack to a waterfall and ice formations on undeveloped land near her home. By the way, the creek we followed was West Fork Creek which runs east under Browntown Road and turns south at the Taylor's Chapel Road bridge. It becomes a pretty good sized creek as it continues on to the Caney Fork. See photos from Ginger , Bill Eldridge, and Jim.
